This song was inspired this verse in the bible in Psalms 113:2-3 which reads "Let the name of the Lord be praised, both now and forevermore.  From the rising of the sun to the place where it sets, the name of the Lord is to be praised".

 

And it basically reminds us as believers, we may encounter so many setbacks and challenges as we journey through this passing of life but regardless of the times whether good or bad, we should always trust God to prevail for us and be thankful in advance as that is his will for us in Christ Jesus!
