I remember sometime back when I was having a discussion with a friend of mine. She was very influential and I suggested that she should go into politics. Without thinking twice, she said 'hell no, that's no place for a Christian.' She further buttress her statement by saying politics is dirty and gave examples of well meaning people who have either died or turned bad as a result of politics.

Fast forward 2021, my friend didn't go into politics, the country is in a mess and the people are crying and demanding a fix to this mess. My mind went back to that conversation I had with my friend, now very much older, married with a steady income and kids to raise, and I ask myself what difference she could have made had she gone into politics. I guess we will never find out. But it's not only her, there are hundreds of powerful devout Believers spread across the nation and the same question comes to mind, why are they not going into politics and using their influence to fix this country but have left it for thieves, wolves in sheep clothes to govern?

It's shocking how self-centered we are. We will not think about the next man, even though we are commanded to love our neighbors, we seek to love ourselves more and are totally oblivious to the sufferings of our neighbors. So long as I am ok, my family is ok, my job is secured, I mind my business, I go to church, I pay my tithe and offering...then am good. How's this Christianity?

If life is good for you, there are millions who are suffering and as a Christian, we need to raise our voices and take charge of matters that affect them. Christian celebrities can make all the noise but it's politicians who call the shots and until we invade that space, we will continue to be ruled by thieves.

Can't even begin to imagine the amazing positive changes that would take place under a real Theocratic government. One thing I know is that, this country will be faaar better than it currently is.

If you know any powerful, influential believer, pass this on to them. Encourage them to get into politics and let's get them in office when the time comes. Backed by prayers, support from the church, and God's favor, we can change this country for good.
