If you come across a Slay Queen's page, don't ignore, post this! (@jaysmoke)

Blog

It's not a secret that social media is packed with all sorts of things. A little search and you will find everything from guns to porn. And as a Christian, navigating through all these can be a difficult thing to do. It's like walking in the midst of wolves and if you are not strong and focused, you'll definitely stumble and fall.

Many times, when I am suggested a page that's contrary to my beliefs, I either ignore it, I report it and block it so I don't see such suggestions in the future or I shrug and move on. I believe that's how many of us, Christians, treat these pages. We choose to ignore rather than engage. I was recently confronted with such a situation and I wanted to do the aforementioned but something promoted me to comment and tell her something. So I entered the comment section and as usual I saw praises from fans. So I commented and posted the following;

---

Hey babes, I know this is fun for you, and the attention is beautiful and all that. I have a few thousand followers myself and I won't lie and pretend that I don't love the attention I get when I receive 50 likes how much more 1000s of likes and comments you get from these posts. I also won't lie and pretend that I don't feel anything when you do your thing, BUT I know that it's not right no matter how many people praise you and admire what you do. One day, you will be held accountable for every action and none of these people will be there to support you. So please don't be a pawn on the devil's side, being used to lure people to lust. Stop these things, come to Jesus and let Him reveal His purpose for your life. Jesus Loves ya ❤️

For the most part, she might not see it or even read it and if it comes to the worst, she'll block me. But that's not the point, because I said something in there that spoke to me too. The bible says we will be held accountable for everything we do, say, don't say and don't do. What will be your answer when God asked, why didn't you tell her about me?

It doesn't take anything to simply comment and move on. So I've decided that everytime I stumble upon such accounts, I'll post the comment above and leave the rest to God. Can you imagine what would happen if Christians did this rather than patronize or ignore these accounts?

So I encourage you to copy the comment above, edit it, save it and when you come across these pages, don't block it, scroll away or ignore it, comment and be a blessing to them. Who knows, God could use you to plant a seed.

God bless you. Shalom 🙏🏾

Yeah good point. Tho I hope you dont come across those pages to much, cause even tho we can comment something good, it could happen, that it makes us wanting to see more or get to much involved with that person. Depending how strong someone is. But I would say, no one should test how strong you are, but better flee temptation. Yet, yes, every pretty person, every outstanding person, anybody who cries out for attention needs Jesus too. So deffinitly a chance to tell them about him.
Yaaaah definitely and this is the time where we have to remember that God won't give you more than you can bear. So if it pops up on your screen, don't take it as the devil trying to lure you but rather an opportunity to share the word. Go in, post the comment and get out.🙂 That's all. Am not saying go and look for them. 🙂🙂 Thanks for the contribution. - DJ JaySmoke (RJE)
In my case. I wont even "go in". But if I come across something where the holy spirit tells me to comment on, I surely will. - Maylex84
