Yeshua is returning tomorrow, what will you do today? (@jaysmoke)

Blog

What would you do differently if you knew Jesus Christ was returning tomorrow? 🤔

Billy Graham (BG) said "If we could live every day as though it may be the very last one before the final judgment, what a difference it would make here on earth!"

I've been trying to wrap my head around that thought. Is it Biblical? Is it nonsense? Is it possible? Does that mean planning for the future is futile, if Yeshua shows up tomorrow, that means all that you planned won't happen, there's no need to work, there's no need to do anything basically. 🙆🏾‍♂️ But that doesn't make sense.

And I believe God knew this, hence why He never reveal the day or time to any man. So this takes me back to my initial question, is this Biblical? Do we have to even live as though Christ will return tomorrow? Stop planning. Don't work. Don't marry. Don't give birth. 🤔

So...Ive concluded that that BG phrase is not accurate not Biblical because it's impossible.

So the question really is, what would you do differently today, if you knew Yeshua would return tomorrow? I guess the question is more directed at the unbeliever than the believer. As a believer, I will just sit back, 🤣 fast and pray and just wait on His return the next day. For the unbeliever, it's more complicated than that. It's a time to think about repentance, to surrender to Yeshua. A time to truly ponder on life and how they've lived it and what they need to stop doing or start doing. It's time to clean up the closet. And whatever it may be, I pray that you won't be caught with your pants down on that day. 🤣

Shalom 🙏🏾
