Therefore if you have been raised with Christ [to a new life, sharing in His resurrection from the dead], keep seeking the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.

What you often think and meditate about often becomes your reality and yet most times our minds are on uncertainties and bad outcomes. Others also keep thinking about this life with respect to material wealth and influence so much that their prayer lives are dominated by those things when infact Jesus already told us not to think about what to wear, eat and where to sleep.

As a Christian the above scripture shows you what to think about and what should dominate your minds. This is the easiest way to become a seeker of God and godly things. This way you easily produce the gifts of the spirit without struggle and naturally stay away from dead works of the flesh without intending to.
