Over the years, I and a few others have enjoyed the bragging right of being the ones who championed the growth of Urban Gospel over the years and made it what it is today. Inasmuch as that is true, we seem to have totally neglected a significant part of that journey. The Music Producers.

There was a time in Urban Gospel, Ghana when 80% of all the hits came from 2 main producers i.e. Mike Millz and DC Beats. Without these two guys we wouldn't have had all the classic Urban Gospel Hits we all fell in love with to this very day. FACT.

Hits like Go Hard by Preachers, I Got my Jesus on by Kingzkid, Outta Coverage Area by Regardless, Hero by JayShady, SOTK by myself and so much more wouldn't have happened if not for these guys. It was these songs that gave us the confidence we needed to storm campuses and high schools to promote Urban Gospel and for me, it would have been quite hard to promote UG Ghana on TV and Radio, at that time, if not for these sounds.

I really would like to use this platform to offer our sincerest appologies and gratitude to the amazing sound engineers who have contributed so much to this movement. From Mike Millz, DC Beats, Emani Beats, to A-Town, Laxio Beats, Dikoder and all the others.
