Is there room for Bridegrooms in a feminist world? (@jaysmoke)
BlogThis was an eye opener. It definitely makes sense but the question am asking is, are women, today, willing to be groomed by their husbands?!
In scriptures, women are commanded to submit, that is a subject that many have struggled with over centuries and especially now with the feminism agenda on the high, this notion of grooming your wife seem old school. But is it really?
Is there room in marriages, today, for men to mould and shape their wives into what they want? Does that mean that you ain't compatible if he wants you to behave a certain way or dress a certain way? Or must you just wait till you find the one who fits perfectly and then you just flow? Which begs the question, is there such a thing as a perfect partner?
I believe there isn't, and as the head, it's up to you to choose to shape your wife into what you want. And it's the wife's responsibility to be cooperative in that process. Men want respect, women want attention/care. Give each other these and this wouldn't be an issue.
So I always say, first find love and everything else will fall in place. Love definitely conquers all.
