When you are a child of God, when you CHOOSE to follow Jesus, Patience is one character you cannot ignore. We say without faith it's impossible to please God, but I say without patience, it's impossible to receive from God. 

Can you imagine how it must have felt like for the disciples, all dying one after the other not seeing the second coming of our Lord as promised? Aside the many signs and wonders, the second coming of Christ was a very much anticipated motivator that didn't happen, yet, they didn't stop serving and placing their lives on the line.

Today, we live in a world of instant everything. We are not patient enough. We want it now. With that mindset, how can you receive anything from God? Lack of patience is causing people to enter into relationships, business deals that they shouldn't be entering. 

I pray we have the patience to wait on God and have faith that God's time is truly the best. Don't give in to pressure from friends n society.
