Xist Music announced on Friday that the record label had signed Miami-based duo Surf Gvng to a "multi-year, multi-album deal." 

“Surf Gvng gave us an element of artistry that we didn’t necessarily have before," Xist president Sean Simmonds said. "These guys are super-talented, laser-focused and bring so much energy to everything that they do."

“We feel like Xist understood our vision and work ethic to do more than just exist as artists but to take risk to become innovators of the CHH culture," Surf Gvng said. "There's a mutual trust and, besides that, it only makes sense for two underdogs to come together and handle up.”

Surf Gvng will release its Xist debut this spring. The group dropped its previous project, #SGOET (Surf Gvng On Er'Thang), last August.#SGOET is available for a free download on Rapzilla.

With the signing, Surf Gvng joins an Xist roster which includes Gemstones, Swift, Sean Simmonds, Davis Absolute and Adia, among others.
