Ghana DJ Awards 2018 nominations are out and Ghana's favorite Urban Gospel DJ/Personality, JaySmoke, has once again been nominated for the highly contested award for Best Gospel DJ at this year's Ghana DJ Awards.

Last year, we saw JaySmoke embark on a series of events that propelled the genre further. From featuring on a few songs, JaySmoke also dropped a couple of mixtapes with his most recent one being in Dec. One very interesting project that took off last year was, The Introduction, which was a way of showcasing the future of urban gospel. The single which featured upcoming cats like Bodiless, Township, Edem, Berean, Joe Kay, Lil Krah, Kobby Salm, Atakora was well receieved. Aside that, JaySmoke also DJ'd at a couple of Urban Gospel events such as Footprint Poolside Praise, MzOne Tube Acoustic Night, Crosswalk Model Fashion Friday. DJ Jaysmoke together with RepJesus Entertainment also embarked on Community Service exercise by organizing the S.A.L.T (Save A Life Today) Project which was a blood donation exercise that took place at the Achimota Retail Centre to help save lives at the Korle Bu hospital through blood donations.

Having been nominated a 2nd time and having won this same award last year, JaySmoke is very much excited and hopeful that he will once again come out victorious. We therefore want to use this platform to encourage all his fans and supporters to vote as many times as you can and help us bring this baby home.
