For years now, The Christian Hip-Hop industry has had to deal with many of it's headline artists struggling with who or what to identify with. Building their careers off the back of the Christian Hip-Hop community, they would later on turn their backs on this same community and claim not to be Christian Hip-Hop artists nor do they want to be associated with the movement. This behavior creates a vacuum within CHH and a craving for someone who is not afraid to represent Jesus. Someone who is ready to wage war against the enemy and isn't afraid to do so no matter how famous or successful they become. Someone who hasn't got anything to lose even though they have everything to lose. What is going on with Kanye. His boldness. His conviction. His declarations. His beliefs. His music etc, all points to that.

If you had told me a few years ago that I would be listening to Kanye's music and actually smiling and bobbing my head to it, I would have laughed at you. But I see myself doing just that with his new album JESUS IS KING and I surely will be checking out his next album.

With they been said, and if he continues to keep it real, Kanye West could very well be the most successful and biggest Christian Hip-Hop, scratch that, the biggest GOSPEL artist ever.

This means that everything within the Gospel sphere will have to change! All the big shots you have grown to know and love, within the Gospel industry will have to MAKE WAY for Kanye!

• The most streamed Gospel songs - Kanye
• The most viewed Gospel videos - Kanye
• The best Gospel album - Kanye
• The best Gospel Hip-hop song - Kanye
• The Gospel artist of the year - Kanye
• The new Gospel artist of the year - Kanye etc.

If all things remain the same, Kanye West, whether we like it or not, will be the new face of Gospel. WOW.
